Hi! I’m Amanda, creator of Stay Fit Be Well. I created this platform with the intention to share my knowledge of health and wellness with my community. I have been immersed within the holistic health world for nearly a decade, and have always been eager to continue educating myself about all aspects of well-being.

I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2022, my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in 2021, and most recently my certification as a Pilates Trainer from Karen Lord Pilates Movement (KLPM) in 2023. While at USC, I was a pre-med student, planning on attending medical school in the future. During my university studies, I completed an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certification from IIN on the side.

Upon completing IIN, I realized medical school would be significantly more focused on prescribing medicine than it would be on how to live a healthy life. Being that my passion lies within wellness and healthy living, I wanted to pursue a path that would allow me to inspire and help others cultivate a healthy lifestyle and find the support that they need to heal. It seems it takes so much work in today’s day and age to simply be healthy. With all of the toxins in our environment and the normalization of being constantly stressed, it is no wonder that more and more people are faced with chronic illness.

Upon taking various biology, psychology, and neuroscience courses, it has become so apparent to me that our physical and mental health are undoubtedly connected and therefore need to be in alignment for a truly healthy life. That is the concept of Stay Fit Be Well— a guide for integrating the proper balance of physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. My mission is to optimize health in every aspect of life. My hope is for you to be a part of this community of like-minded individuals who are interested in learning more about health and wellbeing. I believe in taking a holistic approach, and focusing on treating the root cause of symptoms through natural remedies, such as diet and movement.
